Impairment Tracking System

Welcome to the Marsh Impairment Tracking System

Protection impairment is a situation in which a fire protection system (sprinklers, hose connections, alarms, water supply, fire pump, etc.) or life safety system is taken out of service for foreseen or unforeseen circumstances. Impairments can occur as a result of many different conditions such as maintenance activities, renovation, new construction, equipment failure, or freezing temperatures. During the period of impairment, buildings and property are under increased risk of fire and property damage. Therefore, it is important have a procedure to communicate the protection impairment to parties concerned, a plan to restore protection, and mechanism that will ensure the protection system is restored to fully operational condition as quickly as possible.

Marsh is pleased to provide the Impairment Tracking System; a direct and simple solution for managing active impairment conditions, maintaining records of outages, and ensuring timely follow up to restore systems to full operation.
